"Only probably?" She asks, turning on the water to start the dishes. "Anyone beyond your uncle I should be worried about?" No reason not to get some business out of the way while she does up the washing. There isn't much to do, but better to do it now, than let it sit.

"Keep your curiosity to yourself." Brigid grumbles. Because she does not need Derek and Carlos ganging up on her for any reason ever. Carlos knows some things that Derek doesn't and vice versa. Especially when it comes to the whole werewolf thing. She'd never asked for permission to tell him. Better to have him ignorant, than to worry about him getting drawn into pack politics. And thus having to answer to Markus.
